This recipe is also included in my Hershey’s Chocolate Cake post, which you should definitely check out! This frosting is absolutely delicious, silky, and smooth. I could eat it for days, straight out of the bowl.
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick/8 tbsp)
- 2/3 cup Hershey’s cocoa butter
- 3 cups powdered/confectioners/icing sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Melt the butter.
Stir in the cocoa powder and vanilla extract.
Alternately beat in the powdered sugar and milk parts at a time (I recommend adding it in by the 1/2 cup if you are working with an electric hand mixer). You may add in additional milk by the teaspoon if the frosting is clumped in the beaters.
